ODOT Full Service Maintainence Facility – Medina Outpost

Description:
JCCI is the Lead Single Prime Contractor for the Medina County Full Service Maintenance Facility for the Ohio Department of Transportation. The site will include multiple buildings including a 37,000 SF Pre-Engineered Metal Building Office/Truck Storage/Vehicle Maintenance/Wash Bay Facility along with a Mixing Structure Building and Cold Storage Building. The Project also includes an Above Ground Fuel Island, Brine Area and other site improvements.

Conrad Hall


Description:
JCCI is the Lead Single Prime Contractor for 5,200 SF Renovation to Existing 2nd Floor Science Labs at Conard Hall . The project includes General Selective Demolition of Existing Spaces, New Finishes including Sheet Flooring, Paint and Ceilings along with New Upgraded Mechanical and Electrical Systems.

Description:
JCCI is the Lead Single Prime Contractor for New Massillon District Outpost Facility for the Ohio Department of Transportation. The Site will include multiple buildings including an 18,000 SF Pre-Engineered Metal Building Truck Storage and Wash Bay Facility along with a Salt Storage/Mixing Structure Building and a Cold Storage Building. The Project also includes an Above Ground Fuel Island, Brine Area and Other Site Improvements.

Description:
JCCI is the Lead Single Prime Contractor for the Portage County Full Service Maintenance Facility for the Ohio Department of Transportation. The site will include multiple buildings including a 37,000 SF Pre-Engineered Metal Building Office/Truck Storage/Vehicle Maintenance/Wash Bay Facility along with a Mixing Structure Building and Cold Storage Building. The Project also includes an Above Ground Fuel Island, Brine Area and other site improvements.

Massillon City School District – Track and Field Facility

Description:
New "state of the art" facility for Massillon City Schools. Includes: synthetic track for football and soccer; synthetic turf running track; new bleachers; fencing; landscaping and seeding; site lighting; specialty areas (long jumps/shot put/pole vault).

Edgewood Middle School – Renovations and
Media Center Addition


Description:
Jeffrey Carr Construction, Inc. served as the Lead Prime Contractor for the Additions and Renovations at Edgewood Middle School on behalf of the Wooster City Schools and the Boys and Girls Club of Wooster. The $2,163,000 single prime project included a 4,000 SF Addition to the Middle School Media Center for the purpose of becoming a Multi-Purpose and Administrative Office Area for the Boys and Girls Club. In addition, there was approximately 10,000 SF of Interior Renovations to the Student Dining and Media Center Areas for the School District. Included in the Project Scope was Construction of a New Plaza with Planters, Cast Stone Benches, Stamped Concrete and a New Middle School Entrance Vestibule.

Kent State University –
Taylor Hall Renovation


Description:
Jeffrey Carr Construction Inc. served as the Lead General Contractor on the $7,307,000 Single Prime Construction Renovation of Existing 4-Story 65,000 SF Taylor Hall on the Campus of Kent State University. The 6 month fast track project scope of work included Asbestos Abatement and Selective Demolition of the Existing Building including enlarging and replacing the existing Elevator. Other upgrades included new Flooring, Painting, Ceiling, Lighting and Mechanical Systems throughout the building. Included in the Scope was a 7,000 SF of the MACC Annex Facility. The project was completed in August 2017 in time for Fall Semester and now houses the Visual Communications Department and Communication Studies.

Sciences Building


Description:
This project is the construction of a new 41,140 SF 3 story facility and renovation of approximately 5,250 SF of the existing Main Hall East Wing. The new building will provide classrooms and laboratories for biology, physics, geology and nursing. It will also include general and computer classrooms, faculty offices and a student cyber lounge.

Kent State University –
Eugene Tolloty Technology Business Incubator


Description:
This project is a 27,000 SF two story facility that was a collaboration between Kent State University (Tuscarawas) and the Tuscarawas Community Involvement Commission (CIC). The LEED certified facility was funded in part by the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) and will serve as the main headquarters for the CIC as they attract business to join the Tuscarawas Regional Tech Park.

ODOT - West 114th Salt Facility

Description:
This project consisted of a 137’ x 70’ salt storage building with fabric covered roof system and a 20’ x 40’ single bay storage building with HVAC, lighting and a new electrical service. Site improvements included new asphalt pavement, fencing and a new automatic gate.

United States Citizenship & Immigration Services

Description:
JCCI served as Lead General Contractor for this $1,523,583 project administered by the General Administrative Services (GSA) at the John W. Peck Federal Building in Cincinnati, Ohio. The project was a 12,500 SF 4th Floor Renovation and 2,500 SF 1st Floor Renovation including new offices, conference rooms and training rooms for the U.S. Customs and Immigration Services (USCIS).

  Kent State University – Stark Maintenance Building Envelope Repairs and Roof Replacement

Description:
This project consists of exterior masonry replacement/repairs, exterior painting, replacement of exterior sectional doors and mandoors, install new roof membrane with ribs and snow guards.

Description:
This project is an 11,200 sf addition and 2000 sf of renovations to the existing Parish. The new addition will provide new office space for the staff and the lower level is future preschool space. The project requires auger cast piles and underpinning of the existing facility.

Description:

Site improvements includes a Fuel Island; Brine/Calcium Area; and a Monopole for ODOT Radio Transmitting & GPS Systems.

Description:
This project is a 17,000SF facility that is a collaboration between Stark State College & The Timken Company. The project included a high bay area equipped with a 50 ton crane and test machinery. The project is a LEED “certified” facility.

New Business Entrepreneur Building-Phase I


Description:
This project is a 40,000 SF facility that consisted of a lecture hall, atrium, marketing & financial labs, captioning & computer labs, classrooms, testing and resource centers, and business faculty offices. The building is a three story structural steel, masonry and reinforced concrete structure. The project is a LEED “Silver” standards facility that includes a solar domestic hot water system.

  Akron-Canton Airport Rescue & Fire Fighting/Maintenance Facility

Description:
This project consists of a 22,000 sf Pre-Engineered Metal Building with a 5 ton crane and three 1 ton jib cranes. Attached to the Metal Building is a 13,000 SF conventional masonry facility with a standing seam roof system. The sitework consisted of hauling 100,000 CY of fill material to the site, relocating high voltage electric line, new entrance road, airfield access road, concrete parking and apron areas, storm sewer, waterline, sanitary sewer, site lighting, fencing, airfield lighting and modifications to the existing ARFF communications.

Westlake High School

Description:

Army National Guard Armed Forces Reserve Center & Field Maintenance Shop

Description:
This was a $15,460,000 project consisting of the construction of three separate buildings for the Ohio Army National Guard in Mansfield, Ohio. The project is administered under a Single Prime Contract with Jeffrey Carr Construction as General Contractor and Quality Control Manager.

  Delaware YMCA

Description:
Project is a Single Prime Construction of a new 85,400 SF YMCA Community Center for the City of the Delaware in Delaware, Ohio. The project included two (2) swimming pools, exercise area, gymnasium, locker rooms, climbing wall and a walking track. The site included a new pond and walk path.

Bucyrus Elementary Renovations & Addition

Description:
This project required the renovation of a 100 year old, 100,000 SF school building and a 22,000 SF addition. The renovations included masonry restoration structural upgrades, new roof system , replacement of all doors and windows and new mechanical and electrical systems.

Description:
