Jeffrey Carr Construction, Inc. served as the Lead Prime Contractor for the Additions and Renovations at Edgewood Middle School on behalf of the Wooster City Schools and the Boys and Girls Club of Wooster. The $2,163,000 single prime project included a 4,000 SF Addition to the Middle School Media Center for the purpose of becoming a Multi-Purpose and Administrative Office Area for the Boys and Girls Club. In addition, there was approximately 10,000 SF of Interior Renovations to the Student Dining and Media Center Areas for the School District. Included in the Project Scope was Construction of a New Plaza with Planters, Cast Stone Benches, Stamped Concrete and a New Middle School Entrance Vestibule.

Taylor Hall Renovation
Description:
Jeffrey Carr Construction Inc. served as the Lead General Contractor on the $7,307,000 Single Prime Construction Renovation of Existing 4-Story 65,000 SF Taylor Hall on the Campus of Kent State University. The 6 month fast track project scope of work included Asbestos Abatement and Selective Demolition of the Existing Building including enlarging and replacing the existing Elevator. Other upgrades included new Flooring, Painting, Ceiling, Lighting and Mechanical Systems throughout the building. Included in the Scope was a 7,000 SF of the MACC Annex Facility. The project was completed in August 2017 in time for Fall Semester and now houses the Visual Communications Department and Communication Studies.

Akron-Canton Airport Rescue & Fire Fighting/Maintenance Facility
Description:
This project consists of a 22,000 sf Pre-Engineered Metal Building with a 5 ton crane and three 1 ton jib cranes. Attached to the Metal Building is a 13,000 SF conventional masonry facility with a standing seam roof system. The sitework consisted of hauling 100,000 CY of fill material to the site, relocating high voltage electric line, new entrance road, airfield access road, concrete parking and apron areas, storm sewer, waterline, sanitary sewer, site lighting, fencing, airfield lighting and modifications to the existing ARFF communications.
